Team TruckEast is taking on the Thames Path Ultra Challenge for Alzheimer's Research UK.

This September a combined team from Bury, Felixtstowe and Norwich will be taking on the 50km Thames Path Ultra Challenge, walking from Putney to Runnymede in support of Alzheimer's Research UK.

Covering 50 kilometres in a single day will not be easy. It goes without saying there will be sore feet, tired legs and we’ll need plenty of motivation to reach the finish line. But we are a determined team of seven, and we want to make a difference. Literally stepping out of our comfort zone, it is nothing compared to the daily challenges faced by people living with dementia and those who care for them.

Like so many families across the UK, many of us have experienced the impact of dementia first-hand. That's why we've chosen to support Alzheimer's Research UK and the incredible work they do to fund pioneering research, improve understanding of dementia and work towards a cure.

Every donation, no matter how small, will help fund vital research that brings us one step closer to a world free from dementia.
