I've been volunteering at the Destitute Animal Shelter in Bolton for nearly a year now. See above for a brilliant description of exactly what the shelter does. My own little furry buddy Hugo was taken into the shelter in January earlier this year, and I adopted him very soon after we met!

It's time I did something a bit extra to help the shelter out, and I wanted it to be something I've never done before and probably something I will never do again so I can ask for sponsorship without feeling bad in any way... 😂

So, on 22nd November, at Performance 58 gym, my amazing team (Vicki, Rick and Dom) and I will be completing a 24 HOUR ULTRA DRIATHLON to raise as much as possible for the shelter. Anyone who has ever spent any time on a ski/bike/row erg at the gym will appreciate how horrendous this is likely to be - 8 hours ski, 8 hours bike, 8 hours row. We're aiming for 24,000 calories in 24 hours.

It would mean the world to us (and Hugo, and the dogs and cats at the shelter) if you would consider sponsoring us. The more we raise, the harder we will work for our 24,000 calories, we promise. It's gonna be a LONG 24 hours!
