Doddie's Triple Crown is the 2026 edition of Rob Wainwright's epic annual cycling challenge to raise funds for My Name'5 Doddie Foundation. The challenge will take place from Tuesday 10th - Friday 13th March and the teams will cover 800 miles.

Story

In March a team of 4 cycling friends will take on the Doddie's Triple Crown, an 800 mile cycle leaving from Melrose on Tuesday 10th March arriving in Dublin on the evening of Friday 13th before Scotland take on Ireland at the Aviva Stadium.

The circuitous route is set as follows:

Day 1: Melrose to Leeds

Day 2: Leeds to Gloucester

Day 3: Gloucester to Pembroke (overnight ferry to Ireland)

Day 4: Rosslare to Dublin

Making up the team are Chris Clark, Ian Ord, Matthew Anstead and Phil Allan. The team will be supported by Alice Hutcheon.

Before the challenge sets off from Melrose on 10th, Chris Mackintosh from the John Clark Motor Group will join the team along with some friends and ambassadors of the foundation to ride from Murrayfield to Melrose on Monday 9th and follow the match ball to help get it started on it's journey to Dublin for the final Six Nations Match.

Your support to all our riders is so greatly appreciate.

Thank you!
