OSCAR's Nine Edges Challenge sponsored walk · 3 May 2026

OSCAR's are walking the Nine Edges in the Peak District to raise money for children with brain tumours and their families. Create your fundraising page here and find out how close we are to our target of £20,000 for the event on May 3rd 2026.

Story

Our little team is bigger and better than ever this year! 'Team Warwickshire' are going for it on 3rd May, with OSCAR's Paediatric Brain Tumour Charity, to raise money to support children with brain tumours and their families, raise awareness of signs and symptoms of this terrible disease, and fund research into better and kinder treatments. We have a lot of little legs taking part this year, with ages ranging from 8 to 14 years old, walking the 23 miles of the Nine Edges Challenge, and they need all the support and encouragement they can get!

We will be walking twelve years to the day that Oscar Hughes died of a brain tumour aged just 9. The charity that bears his name has helped so many other children in the same situation and the team taking on the walk are doing so to help even more.
