The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

Every year, the Western Europe Team at Palo Alto Networks take part in a charity challenge event with the aim of raising money for worthy causes whilst building team spirit and getting us out of our comfort zones. For 2023 nearly 50 of us will head down to the Dolygaer activity centre in South Wales on the weekend of Friday 23rd to Sunday 25th June to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.

This years challenge will see Hikers and Bikers pushing themselves to complete a lengthy circuit around the Brecon Beacons. The Hikers will undertake a Trek-25 circuit which is ~25 mile circuit which culminates in ascending Pen y Fan which at 886m is the tallest peak in South Wales. The Mountain Bikers will criss-cross the Hikers as they complete a ~50 mile circuit around the same area. Finally, the Road Bikers will complete a ~90 mile circuit around the Brecon Beacons.

I am sure you would agree that this is a very worthy cause so please dig deep and help us support Macmillan. Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. Your details are safe, JustGiving - they'll never sell them or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity.

Finally, these events do not just happen and I cannot thank our Sponsors Arrow, Exclusive Networks and Westcon-Comstor enough for digging deep and helping to make this possible.
