The National 3 Peak Challenge – in aid of Wigan & Leigh Hospice .

In true Team Wigan & Leigh style, we are taking on another fundraising challenge to try and raise much needed funds for one of our borough’s most treasured charities – Wigan & Leigh Hospice.

Wigan Council have joined partnership with local organisations to take on the 24 hour National 3 Peaks challenge in aid of Wigan and Leigh Hospice. We have called ourselves ‘Team Wigan & Leigh’ as we are all committed to support this local charity providing much needed care & support for over 1200 local people with life-limiting illnesses every year. The Hospice needs to raise £12,000 per day, while continuing to look after our local residents and their families at the most vulnerable time in their life’s.

We have set a very ambitious target of £50k to reflect the deep-rooted respect and appreciation we all have for the great work Wigan & Leigh Hospice continues to deliver to the residents of our borough, so any donation you are able to make, no matter how big or small will make a huge difference.
