Team Williams/Howe (Laura, Zoe, Caz, Tez, Ry & Alex) are taking on the Mendip Challenge on 31st May in aid of Weston Hospice Care!

As many of you know Marcus, our loving Husband, Daddy, Son and Brother was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in October 2024, receiving a diagnosis like this was devastating but Weston Hospice have been there to support Marcus and us as a family ever since both practically and emotionally. In February Marcus’ mobility started to decline and it became impossible to support him safely at home, Marcus now receives his ongoing care and support at Weston Hospice and we genuinely don’t know what we would have done or where we would be without them.

The support they give to not only Marcus but our whole family has been nothing short of incredible. They go above and beyond to get to know Marcus and us as a family and understand what we need when we need it. They have been a lifeline during the most difficult time we will ever face.

We are taking on this challenge to help raise vital funds - Weston Hospice only receive 19% of their funding from the Government and rely on donations so they can continue supporting families like ours during their most distressing time. Weston Hospice are currently facing significant financial pressures, so many families like ours rely on the specialist care they provide and we want to give back so they can continue the amazing work they do.
