We are walking the 21km London Life Hike as a team - looking forward to the walk, the chat, the camaraderie, the sights, and of course, contributing to saving lives across London, including our own corner of the city - Wood Green!

All monies raised will go towards purchasing defibrillators to enable even more places and spaces in the capital have a defibrillator available where and when it is needed. With each defibrillator costing over £800, it is no mean feat - but the benefit is that if used within 1 minute the survival rate is up to 90%, and within 3-5 minutes it is up between 50% and 74%. Without a defib, the survival rate of a cardiac event is less than 10%! It is a no brainer in terms of the need for these life-saving devices.
