The 6th Gosport Scout Group are my most proud achievement. We are fortunate enough to have some of the best volunteers that give young people incredible opportunities, a sense of belonging and a place to belong.

This year I am leading an international trip to Belgium, for 37 Cubs, 3 Young Leaders and 8 incredible adults. We are laying wreaths in Ypres, visiting the battlefields and taking part in a whole host of other activities.

I have self funded my place, as have the other adults, and the young people are paying to attend.

We are left with a funding gap of £10k for the coach for the week, which we are working hard at chipping away at. £3800 down, £6200 to go!

I am sewing badges on to uniforms for funds (amongst other things), but a large group of us are taking on the legendary Ferny Crofts Mudrun.

Years ago I could run, now I am lucky to run a bath! So bring on miles of mud, cold, wet and a sense of pride in dragging myself around the course.

Anything you can offer this incredible group, and a charity so close to my heart would be immense.
