Story
For Carolyn, Katheryn, Kerry, Julie, Sally M, Sally P, Sam and Bridget this is totally outside of our comfort zones - but that's the whole point!
What better way to highlight the vital support that Reminiscence Learning provide for those individuals living with dementia and their families and raise valuable funds for charity, than spending a night in the oldest and most haunted Prison in the UK?!
Charity Jailbreak – Help Set Us Free!
On 16 May 2026, #TeamBluebell comprising Carolyn, Katheryn, Kerry, Julie, Sally M, Sally P, Sam and Bridget are getting locked up at Shepton Mallet Prison, the world’s oldest Jail and former home to the notorious Krays Twins.
We need YOUR HELP to grant us our freedom!
Jail Break 2026 will help raise vital funds for Reminiscence Learning, a charity dedicated to supporting individuals living with dementia and their families.
This isn’t just any fundraiser – we will be ‘treated’ to the full prisoner experience sampling what it’s like to be behind bars and taking part in an Escape Room challenge wearing a flattering orange jumpsuit!
To secure our release, we are aiming to raise £250 each in bail money…so £2,000 in total for the seven of us
and that’s where YOU come in!
🏆 Why Donate?
Every pound you give goes directly to Reminiscence Learning, helping fund their incredible work in dementia care, education, and support services. Your generosity can make a real difference in the lives of those affected by dementia.
