Hastings Half Marathon · 24 March 2024 ·

We care for children & young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambs, Essex, Norfolk & Suffolk and support their families. This can be at home, in hospital or at one of three hospices at Milton, The Treehouse and The Nook. We rely on voluntary donations for the majority of our income.

Story

In memory of Evie Carey - 14 August 2012 - 18 January 2024.

March is Brain Tumour Awareness Month.

For this, cousins Kim and Rebecca are teaming up to take part in the (very hilly) Hastings Half Marathon on Sunday 24 March in memory of their cousin James’s beautiful daughter Evie.

Shelley, James, and Evie’s sister, Jess, have had their lives changed forever following the loss of Evie, who was just 11 years old, and such a bright shining star.

Kim and Rebecca want to make their miles count, so if you can, please donate to support East Anglia Children’s Hospices who supported them all as such a difficult time.

Every penny really does make a difference.

Thank you.
