Last year I held a similar event alongside my friends in a team charity cycle that turned out to be a very successful event raising a total of £1,800. Given how much fun the event was and the success of the event itself alongside the amount of support i received I felt it was appropriate to hold another event this year for Cancer Relief Gibraltar which is a cause I feel passionate in putting support towards.

This time my friend Jake and I will be holding a 10 hour team cycle, the plan in which is to start the cycle at 8:30am and finish at 6:30pm with Jake starting first, then i'll go on once his hour is up and we will alternate from there until I finish off with the last hour. We have set a goal of achieving a total goal of 230km in order to keep ourselves motivated and keep pushing the whole way through.

Any donations would really be greatly appreciated and will go straight through to Cancer Relief Gibraltar, alternatively, on the day there will be the option to drop off any spare cash on a collection tin. This Just Giving page will stay open until Friday the 20th of September so donations after the cycle event itself are still possible.

Lastly, on the day itself there will be an additional two cycling bikes available alongside the one Jake and I will be using, these can be used by anyone to help push us a long for a minimum of 5 minutes and a maximum of half an hour.
