This year, Team Empowered — Ben Perrett, James Anderton, Steve Marsh, and Scott Wilkie — are taking on the Tour de BT, tackling various distances and serious hills, all to raise money for an incredible cause: The Laura Hyde Foundation.

The Laura Hyde Foundation supports the mental health and wellbeing of frontline workers, helping those who dedicate their lives to helping others. It’s a mission close to our hearts, and we’re proud to be riding in support of it.

Tour de BT is back and near Cheltenham for 2025

Come rain or shine our riders will be cycling up to 350km and completing up to 3000m of climbing over three days in September (16th to 18th) in conjunction with the Blue Light Cycling Club to raise money for the Laura Hyde Foundation.

We are aiming to raise £25,000

The Laura Hyde Foundation was set up specifically for our medical and emergency services personnel and is the UK's ONLY charity focused on mental health support and awareness for our emergency services

Our nurses, doctors, paramedics, firemen, police officers and carers are all exposed to stress and trauma everyday. Their selflessness and passion for helping others frequently results in them bringing home the strain and pain of their daily experiences. The Laura Hyde Foundation’s mission is to ensure that all medical and emergency services workers have access to the best mental health support network available and remove the stigma associated with this.

It's fair to say that this will be a big challenge for the team. But we feel passionately about this cause and wanted to do an event that was worthy of your support and amazing donations.
