Story
In June we are undertaking the Royal Marsden London to Paris cycle ride in memory of Neville Farrington, who lost his life to lung cancer in February of this year.
Whilst his time there wasn’t long enough, the quality of care we received from the Royal Marsden was absolutely exceptional, providing my family hope and reassurance that carried us through his illness. From the volunteers making cups of tea as we waited for appointments, to the nurses responding to every personal query via the app, to the physios delivering virtual sessions (and on ward masseuses), as well as the exceptional lung oncology team led by Professor Sanjay Popat - all of them the top of their game professionally, and so compassionate and kind personally. It really is the most incredible place and I will be forever grateful for them taking my dad into their care.
Any donations to this wonderful place, in memory of a truly wonderful father, would be very much appreciated.
Thank you for your support.
