Story
There's now less than a month to go until Team Frankham (Jack, Tom and I) will be running the Brighton Marathon in aid of the Chandran Foundation, which we can certainly say has come around frighteningly quickly. After a long winter chock full of cold, dark and damp training runs we are delighted to see the days getting both warmer and longer and we are very much looking forward to the big day on the 7th April. Jack, with this being his first ever marathon completed, I know is particularly excited to take on the (surprisingly hilly!) marathon, and also I'd strongly suspect a well earned pint of non-alcoholic beer at the finish line... Tom and me, having ran the London Marathon and the Brighton Marathon last year respectively have concluded that we must have lost our collective minds to do this to ourselves again, all aside from a very worthy cause. When deciding on a charity to support for the marathon there was absolutely no doubt in our minds that the Chandran Foundation would be our selection, frequently seeing the great work that the charity do in providing fantastic help for less fortunate young people. Any donations which can be spared will be very gratefully received by the team and I'm sure will give us all that final push we'll most definitely need during the final few big runs of our training and of course on the day itself!
Thanks, and let's go team Frankham!
