Story
On April 26th, I’ll be taking on 26.2 miles at the London Marathon. I would like to use this opportunity to support my cousin's son, Hugo, and the wonderful work of The PACE Centre, an incredible charity that transforms the lives of children and young people with motor disorders, such as cerebral palsy.
PACE works with children who have a neurological impairment, and who therefore struggle to do the things that most of us take for granted. The good news is that specialist centres like PACE provide the expert support needed to help these children find their voice, gain independence, and thrive.
Hugo, who is 5 years old, has cerebral palsy and has been going to the PACE centre since he was just three months old! From early baby support classes to his current place at their school, PACE has been incredible for him.
PACE believes in every child’s potential, regardless of their physical challenges. By donating, you are helping to transform lives and ensure that more children and families have access to the specialist care that has been so vital for Hugo’s development.
Thank you so much for supporting my run, and more importantly, for supporting the amazing team at PACE!
