Welcome to our TeamIbby17 page.

My name is Ibby, I am 17 years old, a proud Oldhamer & I captain TeamIbby. My passion for 5 years is supporting our local charities in our town & my hospital charity. So this month as I celebrate a very special milestone fundraising for my first Oldham charity,. Truly humbled by all your love & phenomenal support over the years. Thank you so much.

Exactly 5 years ago I went to Maggie’s Oldham with my first donation for them, then I wanted to help raise awareness & money for Maggie’s Oldham on Twitter with your support, this was the very first Oldham charity I supported & still do support them & the wonderful work they do supporting people & families in our town living with cancer.

We all know someone living with cancer & the devastation it causes, but we are so blessed to have a Maggie’s Centre here in Oldham to support so many living with cancer & supporting their families.

Every donation helps Maggie’s Oldham to continue offering the best support for every person walking through their doors.

On my 5th Anniversary of fundraising for Maggie’s & being 17 years old. So 5 & 17 are the magic numbers. Please can I ask you all to join #TeamIbby17 fundraiser by seeing if you can get 5 members of your family, friends, work colleagues etc to pledge £17 each as part of team & join #TeamIbby17 to support the wonderful work Maggie’s do in our town.

On this special anniversary, to get 17 #TeamIbby17 teams will mean so much as we all know someone living with cancer & everyday more are diagnosed in our town & the impact it has on everyone especially young people & children. Maggie’s Oldham are here to help & support them.
