My lovely cousin, my mum, myself and a truly amazing bunch of people will be taking on the Aberdeen Kiltwalk Mighty Stride on June 7th to raise money for Team Jak (Jak’s Den). Anyone is welcome to join us, just let me know will send you the info.

A wonderful wee young relative of mine was diagnosed with cancer last year and Jak's Den has been a brilliant space for him and his family, providing support and a safe place where they could be able to play, as well as the events and opportunities that they provide. My cousin (his lovely mum) has said this is the charity we should support, as they have been a huge help during a difficult time.

Jak’s Den provides a "neutropenic-friendly" environment, which means it’s safe for kids with suppressed immune systems to socialize and just be kids away from the hospital.

We can't think of a better cause to do this Kiltwalk for. If you’re able to donate, it would be much appreciated. If not, a share of this page is just as helpful.
