Raising vital funds and spreading awareness of Osteosarcoma in memory of Niamh.

Story

Hi everyone, I’d greatly appreciate if you could take a minute to read about my fundraiser ☺️

My best friend Niamh was all things amazing, inspirational, loving, beautiful, positive, strong and more 🤍 Niamh left us this year on the 17th of January. Words can’t even begin to describe how deeply and infinitely missed she is by all of her loved ones, family, friends and anyone who was blessed to meet her.

I am so grateful for knowing Niamhy. In memory of her, myself and a group of friends will be running the Isle of Skye half marathon on Saturday the 14th of June. Niamh and I had spoken about this run before the New Year, Niamh had said that she was keen to raise funds in research for Osteosarcoma. To honour this, we will be fundraising for the Bone Cancer Research Trust, Niamh Jobson Research Fund. This fund will be dedicated specifically for Osteosarcoma Research.

Osteosarcoma is a particularly vicious childhood/ teenage cancer. More info can be found here:

Osteosarcoma | Bone Cancer Research Trust (https://www.bcrt.org.uk/information/information-by-type/osteosarcoma/)

Running the half marathon will sure be a challenge for us, however, we know we will power through knowing our trooper will be by our side 🕊️♥️
