QEH Year 4s take on the 'Schools Triathlon 2025'

H Fechtner is raising money for Restless Development

Schools Triathlon 2025 at Clifton College · 4 May 2025 ·

On Sunday 4th May, around 1,000 inspiring 7 - 13 year old's are swimming, cycling, running and fundraising to support thousands of young people around the world to deliver life-changing projects in their own communities.

Story

It's a game of numbers...

Seven boys (looking for one more!), three sports, one challenge...and all for two fantastic causes! 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️

On Sunday 4 May 2025, seven (soon-to-be eight? 🤞) fearless Year 4 QEH boys - Alfie, Archie, Jack, Joseph, Richard, Rupert and Wilf - will be taking on the Schools Triathlon at Clifton College.

For a number of the boys, this will be their first-ever triathlon, and they’re throwing themselves into the challenge!

Racing as two teams, they're not doing this for individual or team glory (or the post-race snacks)... they’re racing to raise money for Restless Development - a fantastic youth-led charity that empowers young people, and Cancer Research UK - https://www.cancerresearchuk.org

The challenge

Each team member will:

🏊‍♂️ swim 50m

🚴‍♂️ pedal 1,000m

🏃‍♂️ run 750m

It's all about 'team spirit' and the group will cross finish line together, proving that teamwork (and sheer determination) makes the dream work!

Back to the numbers: The boy's fundraising goal

Alfie, Archie, Jack, Joseph, Richard, Rupert and Wilf each has a fundraising target of £100!

💙 The first £50 raised goes to Restless Development.

💙 The next £50 will go to Cancer Research UK - https://www.cancerresearchuk.org

💙 Anything above this goes to support Restless Development.

To boost their fundraising, the boys will also be hosting a cake sale at school — because if there’s one thing they love almost as much as sport, it has to be cake...and making others happy in sharing the sweet treats!

How can you help?

The boys would love it if you could support them in their fundraising. No matter how big or small the donation - 'every penny ... or pound... counts'.

Thank you so much for your support!

Alfie, Archie, Jack, Joseph, Richard, Rupert and Wilf
