As referees, we’re expected to turn up on time, be correctly dressed and fully equipped — simple rules that apparently aren’t as easy as they sound!

Whistles get left behind, shirts disappear, boots are abandoned and kit somehow avoids the washing machine for weeks.

So, rather than letting our questionable organisational skills go to waste, we’re turning them into something positive by raising money for a great cause. Expect plenty of laughs, questionable decision-making and the occasional frantic search for missing equipment. If we can’t keep track of our kit, at least we can raise some money while having a good laugh!
