Brian recently joined Lindengate Charity as CEO and wanted to take on a challenge to raise much needed funds to support the charity’s work. Brian turned to Joe Manley at Prostart Personal Training and his gym buddies Giles and Jason who jumped at the chance to support the cause!

Lindengate is a small local charity near Wendover in Buckinghamshire that supports people’s mental and physical wellbeing on an amazing 6 acre garden created by staff and volunteers over the last 10 years.

Lindengate provides social and therapeutic horticulture in their restorative gardens to people of all ages. In 2023, over 3,000 people benefitted from the programmes, activities and volunteering opportunities at Lindengate.

The money raised goes towards offering free funded places to their Wellbeing Programmes to local people in our community who are struggling to access NHS mental health services and cannot afford to access private care and support.

Our challenge is ambitious, for us anyway!, to collectively row a staggering 101 kilometres in our local gym on 27 April. Despite none of us loving rowing, we are determined to push ourselves to the limit for this worthy cause.

We humbly ask for your support in this endeavour. Whether it's through a monetary donation or simply spreading the word to friends and family, every contribution, big or small, will make a significant impact. Rest assured, every penny raised will go directly to Lindengate, ensuring that their vital work can continue changing lives for the better.
