This Sunday, Sonnys baby brother (remember we don’t use his name on the internet) will be completing a 1km race. This is to raise money for Tommy’s Maternal & Fetal Health Research Center - all money raised goes towards saving babies lives and supporting bereaved familes

The work of this researcher centre is why Sonnys baby brother is in our arms. The dedication of the staff is what made sure I was able to give my youngest the best start in life. Every little thing they do is to make sure families are supported and to help reduce the number of babies dying

But they need funding..: and we need your help

The 27th July will be Sonny’s 7th birthday. Seven years since our beautiful first born baby boy was born. Seven years since he died.

We should be planning his party, letting him choose his cake, I should be fretting over party themes, seeing our Sonny have the time of his life and celebrating another year of making magical memories with him. But we don’t get that privilege.

What we can do is celebrate the life he did have. A life that matters so very much. A life that lives on in me, his dad, his big sister and baby brother.

This year we will be walking 27km to raise money. Let’s face it - 27km with a 4 year old is going to be the challenge 😆

Every penny donated will go to Tommy’s Maternal & Fetal Health Research Centre - a centre dedicated to saving babies lives. The very centre that supported us to bring Sonny’s baby brother home safely (remember we do not say his name on the internet).

I made a promise to Sonny that every year I would celebrate his birthday for him. We’d have cake & balloons - in true Team SF style… …another promise was to ensure his life would make a positive difference to others and that his memory lives on. And we hope you can support us in doing that by helping us raise money to help save babies lives.

All money raised will be going towards the final target of the event I am involved with, Rainbow Race, in September. This money is earmarked for the Maternal and Fetal Health Research Centre in Manchester. This centre is who cared for us when we were pregnant with the little guy, we will be forever thankful for their support.

Please share this far and wide and help us to celebrate our beautiful boy, Sonny, and help save babies lives.
