200 MILES IN 24 HOURS...

Ted was diagnosed with Adrenoleukodystrophy, a rare progressive disease in 2021, and since then he has required multiple pieces of specialist equipment as his mobility has deteriorated.

Ted's mum Freddie has always been dedicated in ensuring Ted has the most appropriate equipment for what is needed to maintain the best quality of life possible. This included applying through REACT for a super duper wheelchair which has enabled him to go on holiday, go on woodland adventures and multiple laps around Chatteris, enjoying time together continuing activities they both enjoy.

REACT help children with life shortening illnesses, working to give children comfort, dignity and where possible, greater independence. They supply a wide range of equipment from specialist wheelchairs, beds, baths and mobility aids, to essential everyday homecare items.
Seeing first hand how REACT have aided Ted, we want to complete this event to help raise money for other children.

Therefore, 11 of us split between 2 teams, are taking on a relay challenge to complete as many 5 mile laps as our legs will allow, around the Sandringham estate in 24 hours.
