Story

Team Terling is made up of a group of parents and kids from Terling School. We are getting our cycling gear on and completing the Ride for Helen on Sunday 12 May 2024. Between us, we will be riding 153 miles to raise money for Helen Rollason Cancer Charity. If you haven't heard of Helen Rollason Cancer Charity, the main centre is based in Hatfield Peverel and they support anyone living with cancer and their carers by providing complementary therapies, information, advice and support. The services are free of charge and rely soley on donations. 1 in 2 of us will experience some form of cancer in our lifetime and this service would not survive without financial support. Please help us reach our target.

From Helen Rollason Cancer Charity: We are dedicated to championing quality of life for everyone living with or affected by Cancer.

We are here to support men and women with all types of cancer at all stages; newly diagnosed, throughout and post treatment, as well as their wider support network of family, friends and carers.

We do this through the provision of support centres, complementary therapies, information and advice and supporting clinical trials. Our services are delivered free of charge to support cancer patients’ emotional well-being alongside their medical treatment.
