We’re off again! Team Trotters TVP is off to the Lake District to take part in Light the Lakes for our 4th year in a row. This year we are off to light up Catbells…
We will be setting off about 2200 hrs and walking/ scrambling in the dark to the top of Catbells. We will light up the Wainwright peaks together at 0200 hrs. Each year COPS try to get all 214 peaks lit up…could this be the year!!?
It’s a great event to raise awareness and money for those families where their loved one didn’t make it home from work. It happens far too often up and down the country but at Thames Valley, sadly we know the loss all too well.
Times are tough, lots of people are currently fundraising for other amazing charities / events and so we are not setting a big fundraising target. Any amount you can spare will be greatly appreciated and every penny counts…

COPS provides peer support opportunities and access to counselling services to help surviving family members (‘survivors’) rebuild their shattered lives.
"Your loss is a part of who you are but COPS helps you realise that it doesn’t define you. We are all one big family."
Since its foundation in 2003, COPS has helped hundreds of police families devastated by the loss of a loved one who died on duty.
