Here at the Wakefield branch of Prestige Nursing & Care, we’ve proudly chosen Macmillan Cancer Support as our ongoing charity for 2025 and beyond. This decision came from the heart, after the year began with several of our own care colleagues receiving life-changing cancer diagnoses, we knew we wanted to do something meaningful.

We’ve seen firsthand the emotional and practical support Macmillan provides, and we are committed to helping them continue this vital work. Our fundraising journey this year is more than just a campaign - it’s a personal mission to stand beside those affected by cancer, to honour those we’ve lost, and to walk with those still fighting.

Throughout 2025, we’ll be organising a series of events, including:

We are absolutely blown away that three amazing people have stepped forward to take part in Brave the Shave at our Macmillan Coffee Morning 💚 Their courage and generosity show exactly what it means to stand side by side as a team, supporting not only each other but also everyone affected by cancer.

We want to give a huge thanks and huge gratitude to everyone who has donated so far. Your kindness means so much and every single penny makes a difference. Please continue to stand with us – share your memories, show your support and help us stand beside everyone battling and suffering right now.
