Team Weald is the Weald School (Billingshurst) Greenpower Racing Team. Greenpower is the racing formula where students design, build and race electric cars. Team Weald have been involved for 25 years and this is our next exciting phase of development.

We are planning a new purpose-built workshop with space for all five cars: Bluebird (championship winner), Purple Predator, Black Bullet, X and our new championship contender: Unknownbird (name TBC); plus all of our helmets, race gear and battery charging.

The cost of the building is £11,000; we've already been pledged support from the Weald School, Billingshurst & District Lions Club, Billingshurst Parish Council and CeVac in Billingshurst totalling £5,000 which leaves us £6000to raise.

Any additional funds from our appeal will be used to support the running and development of the team including new batteries, team safety kit, race day equipment (we really need a new gazebo to keep the rain and sun off!) and development of our new car.
