Mortgage Advice Bureau - Wenham Mortgages taking on 25km Peak District Charity Walk

Daniel Wenham is raising money for WellChild

Team Wenham – 25km Peak District Charity Walk · 26 September 2026

WellChild is the national charity for seriously ill children. Thousands of children live with complex medical needs. Many spend months, or years in hospital because there is no support enabling them to leave. We exist to give these children the best chance to thrive: at home, with their families.

Story

Earlier this year, Team Wenham successfully took on the challenge of climbing Mount Snowdon (Yr Wyddfa) in Wales, raising vital funds for WellChild, the national charity supporting seriously ill children and their families across the UK.

Now, we're lacing up our walking boots once again for our next challenge – a 25km walk through the Peak District. This demanding route will take around 6–7 hours to complete, testing our endurance while raising even more money for this incredible cause.

WellChild works tirelessly to ensure children with complex medical needs can receive the care they need at home, surrounded by the people they love, rather than spending extended periods in hospital. Their work provides practical and emotional support to families facing incredibly difficult circumstances.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help WellChild continue making a real difference to the lives of seriously ill children and their families. Your support means so much to us and to the families WellChild helps every day.

The Peak District walk is just one of several fundraising events we'll be taking on as part of our commitment to supporting WellChild. Together, we're determined to continue raising as much as possible and make every challenge count.

Thank you for your generosity and encouragement – we couldn't do it without you. 💙
