Team Why are Ben Thomas, Matt Green, James Renfrew and Steve Piper and we are riding over 500 miles for Challenge Adventure Charities because we want to raise money for some amazing causes!

Every year we take part in Challenge Adventure Charities ride to raise money for charity by cycling through France and each year 25% of our total goes to each of Cancer Research UK and the British Heart Foundation. The remaining 50% goes to a charity of our choice and this year we have chosen to support Home Start (Wessex):

Home-Start is a local community network of trained volunteers and expert support helping families with young children through their challenging times. Their aim is to assist parents when they most need help and support because childhood can’t wait

Our 2025 Challenge is for teams of 4 to ride over 500 miles; starting straight from the ferry in Caen, down through Orleans and Vichy on our way to centre of the Burgundy region in Beaune.

Challenge Adventure Charities has raised over £4.5m since 1996 and Team Why has been proud to be contributing for the past 10 years. Your contributions really are important to us and provide us great motivation whilst we are away.
