This May Techni Ltd, Techni Systems, and Techni Engineering, we are coming together as one team to take on a shared challenge with a big goal, to walk the equivalent distance from Shrewsbury to Techni Spain SL on foot, a total of 2,178 kilometres, throughout the month.

This challenge is about more than just distance. It’s about teamwork, wellbeing, and doing something meaningful together across all three businesses. Every step counts, whether it’s a lunchtime walk, a dog walk, a weekend hike, or simply getting out and moving more during the day. All activity will be tracked and combined so we can see our collective progress towards Spain, with regular updates to celebrate milestones along the way.

We’ve chosen to take on this challenge in May as it aligns with Dementia Action Week, a key moment to support the work of Alzheimer's Society. It also comes at a time of year when the weather improves, giving everyone a great opportunity to get outside, stay active, and take part in something positive together.

The Alzheimer’s Society works towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. They provide vital support for those living with dementia today, while funding research and offering hope for the future. We are proud to stand behind this incredible cause.

Alongside the challenge, we are aiming to raise as much money as possible. Every donation, big or small, will help support their important work.
