I’m thrilled to be joining the other unhinged individuals who think running 26 miles is a good idea at the 2026 London Marathon, my sister Kezia and our ‘brother’ Dave included.

We’re proud to be running in support of Scope UK, a charity working to create a fairer, more inclusive society for disabled people.

From my experience working in childcare, I’ve seen how crucial it is to have meaningful support for children with additional needs, and how important it is that they and their families feel recognised, valued, and uplifted

In the UK, there are 16 million disabled people – that’s one in four of us – and 11% of children are disabled, including 1.7 million with special educational needs (SEN).

These aren’t just statistics; they reflect real children and adults who deserve the very best opportunities.

By taking on this challenge, we want to help raise awareness and vital funds so Scope can continue providing life-changing support, campaigning for equality, and breaking down barriers that so many people still face.
