Our little boy Jesse was born sleeping on 08/03/25. Through the donation of a specialist cot from Abigail’s Footsteps we were able to spend precious time with our son, something that has been vital to our grieving.

Unfortunately, stillborn babies are more common than we knew, with around 1 in every 250 births in the UK being a sleeping baby, one of the highest rates in Europe.

Abigail’s Footsteps provides vital support to families navigating the heart-breaking experience of baby loss. The charity’s compassionate efforts include creating comforting spaces within hospitals, supplying essential equipment for precious moments with their babies, and offering crucial bereavement training to midwives.
