Story
On 26 April 2026, I will be running in the TCS London Marathon to raise funds for the UK charity, Access Sport.
Founded in 2004, Access Sport supports disabled and disadvantaged children and young people to access the life-changing benefits of community sport, including improved physical and mental health, a sense of belonging, community engagement and personal development. They do this by training, equipping and supporting community sports clubs to deliver inclusive sports sessions for disabled and disadvantaged children and young people.
I am also the father of a young baby girl, which has made me reflect even more on the opportunities we give children as they grow up. Sport has always played a huge role in my own childhood. It taught me discipline, resilience, and awareness of my physical and mental health. It also helped me build strong friendships and a real sense of belonging. These are values and experiences I hope my daughter and every child can have access to.
By donating to my JustGiving page, you'll be helping Access Sport to continue their vital work, creating more opportunities for disabled and disadvantaged young people to experience the transformative power of sport.
Thank you for your donation.
