Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 20th July, in the early hours, we lost the beloved Bailey Chadwick in the most tragic circumstances. He was taken in a hit and run and we still have no answers. During this horrendous time and whilst the investigation is still ongoing we want to put our pain into purpose and do something good and full of hope in memory of Bailey. A race night surrounded by all his nearest and dearest and raising money which had worked closely with his family🦉💙🤍
I would like to confirm that the money raised on the night will go to 'Just B' who offer bereavement support to children, young people and adults. This is at Dayles wishes which we are proud to support.
We want to be fully transparent: while improving road safety (such as installing a camera system) remains a key goal, we have not yet received approval from the council to move forward. Because of that, it wouldn't be right to raise money for a project that isn’t confirmed — and we want to avoid confusion or frustration from our generous supporters
Please do not be disappointed as progress to improve our roads is very much in the making and when the time is right and when we have the go ahead from the council (which we will make sure that we do) we can then organise another night like this where funds can go directly to that purpose.
We really hope you understand.
