We need your help to raise money for Dartmoor Search and Rescue Ashburton Along with an amazing group, we are walking the Templer Way on Sunday 28th April 2024 from Haytor on Dartmoor to Teignmouth on the south coast. ( The Way traces the route by which granite was exported from Dartmoor via the unique Haytor Granite Tramway and the Stover Canal.......incase you wondered....) Dartmoor Search & Rescue are a Devon based charity of 60+ volunteers on call 24/7 dedicated to assisting the emergency services with the search and rescue of the lost, missing, injured and vulnerable including those with dementia, mental health illnesses and children. With out these amazing volunteers from the search and rescue team, the emergency services would not have the resources to devote to the search and rescue of missing or injured loved ones.
