So I've finally got the opportunity to achieve one of my life long goals and run the London Marathon!! In hindsight, I should have maybe done this when I was much younger and I'm not sure its my brightest idea knowing I'll be 48 by race day !! I'm not sure I also thought about the training in the winter when my good friend Sally Wells, from Shooting Stars talked me into it, but with my background at Bedfont Eagles I'm so proud to be able to support and amazing charity supporting children.

So please get behind an amazing charity, Shooting Star Children's Hospices cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families across Surrey and London.

Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months or years, we are here to make every moment count. We support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.
