Story
Our Story:
This May we are taking on a challenge to walk 160 miles together- that’s over 5 miles a day, every day in May, to raise vital funds for Sight Life.
Sight Life is a charity that’s very close to our hearts. After my husband- Rania's dad - tragically lost his sight in a car accident, our lives were turned upside down. Sight Life was there for us all and made a huge difference to us.
The team at Sight Life helped him, and us as a family, to adapt, move forward and - most importantly - laugh again. We would have been lost without them.
So, this month, every step we take is to help other families like ours.
If you are able to, please donate. Every donation can help Sight Life keep supporting people with sight loss and helping them rebuild their lives too.
Please read below to find out more about the work that Sight Life does or check out its website at www.sightlife.wales.
Thank you so much. We'll keep you all updated how we're progressing.

How Sight Life makes a difference:
43% of people with sight loss have significant depressive symptoms.
For last 160 years, Sight Life's work has been making a meaningful impact in the lives of local blind and partially sighted people when they need us the most.
We want to keep supporting and evolving the services we offer for the next 160 years but we need your support!
Raising just £160 for Sight Life will allow us to visit a Service User at home to provide essential advice to ensure they can continue to live independently; provide a bespoke session on how to successfully manage living with sight loss and reduce the isolation it imposes; and also run a social group that can become a life-line to our Service Users and gives them a reason to leave home.
The money you raise matters. Thank you for helping us make a difference!
