Story
I am walking with my very special friend who has just been through her breast cancer treatment. We are on a mission to give back and help this wonderful charity so that breast cancer is detected earlier and has better outcomes for other breast cancer sufferers.
I was privileged and happy to take on the 10K walk with my friend, but had no idea I would be walking the Manchester City Center streets dressed as a giant inflatable breast to raise the final funds needed to build the National Breast Imaging Academy. In the UK, breast cancer rates in women have increased by 24% since the 1990s. Incidence rates for breast cancer are projected to rise in the UK between 2014 and 2035.
Your support will impact lives, not just now, but for many years to come. For our daughters, our mothers, our sisters, or sons, dads, and brothers because men can get breast cancer too. Let’s build this life-saving academy together!
Please get behind us and help us raise funds for a better future. Our target is £300 for "The Mammary Walk 2025" campaign. Thank you!
