Story
Rhiannon was born with a rare eye condition called Aniridia, which as a result, makes her severely sight impaired.
Rhiannon has been attending Vision Norfolk children, young people and family events since she was 3 months old. They support her, and provide her with activities and events to participate in with other vision impaired children. Having other VI friends is so important. They have a camaraderie and just get each other-their struggles, but also their incredible strengths too.
Vision Norfolk has been a lifeline for me too, being able to meet other VI parents, with whom you can ask questions and take support from.
When Rhiannon heard about the charity 220th year celebrations she wanted to give something back. She had a think for a day or two, and decided she would swim 220 lengths of the pool. That’s 2,200 metre - 1.3 miles!!! This is a huge challenge for Rhiannon, as it’s more than double her longest swim, but she is so determined to do this!
If anyone is able to help her by sponsoring or sharing, it would be hugely appreciated 😊❤️
Let’s make this 220th anniversary one to remember! Together, we can reach our goal of £220,000 and continue empowering the community for many years to come. Thank you for your support!
