This March, I’ll be taking on the biggest challenge of my life: riding from the Yorkshire Dales all the way to Senegal in West Africa — a journey of over 4,000 km.

The route pays homage to the original Paris–Dakar Rally and will take me across an incredible mix of terrains: mountain passes, the vast Sahara Desert, endless dirt roads, and nights spent wild camping along the way. It’s a true bucket‑list adventure, and it will definitely push my (limited 😂) skills and determination to their absolute limits.

When choosing a charity to support, there were many worthy causes to consider — but one stood out above all others. The Yorkshire Air Ambulance holds a very special place in my family’s heart. They were there for my mum after a serious car accident, and we will always be grateful for the lifesaving care they provided.

So, as I take on this challenge, I’m raising funds to support the incredible work they do every single day. If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean the world — to me, to my family, and to the countless people whose lives the Yorkshire Air Ambulance touches.
