London Marathon 2024 · 21 April 2024 ·

We are one of Scotland's key veterans charities, with the aim to provide former members of the armed forces with sight loss assistance and support to live indipendant and fulfilling lives. We currently operate two activities centers in Scotland as well as an extensive outreach service.

Story

I am privileged to have gained a place in the 2024 London Marathon on 21st April. With this great opportunity, I'm hoping to raise some funds for a charity who have recently started to help my dad and are helping many others within my local community and throughout Ayrshire and Scotland.

Sight Scotland Veterans are there for anyone living with sight loss, who has served in the Armed Forces, including National Service. They help restore independence and life skills by providing specialist equipment, technology and devices and give advice to help rebuild and transform lives.

Loneliness is a huge challenge for people with sight loss. The charity understand the vital importance of social connections, and strive to bring people out of loneliness and social isolation, offering weekly meets, day trips and outings. Their support is free, life long and life changing!

Please help me show our appreciation to this charity and the veterans within Scotland who require their support by donating to my page.
