We are taking on the Welly Walk to help transform the Children’s Department at Ipswich Hospital! We as a family have not had to use the Ipswich hospital itself but as you all know we are unfortunately regularly in Colchester Hospital and this charity raises money for both.

We are not the fittest of family or at present the healthiest but what a great way to get out, exercise have fun and raise money for a great cause. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.

The first phase of the new Department opened to patients in December 2022, but there’s still a long way to go. The next step of the project is redeveloping the ward areas, to elevate the experience for young patients and their families.

The Children's Appeal has helped support redesigning the department into a light, airy and welcoming space. With your support, we can help to get one step closer to finishing the Appeal and provide brand new indoor and outdoor sensory and play spaces, as well as equipment.
