Teddy is the youngest of my 5 sons, he was such a lovley baby and loved his sleep!. when he was 5 i noticed he had trouble jumping and getting himself up from the floor. He also experinced calf muscle cramp and couldnt walk for a long time. Teddy was referd to Great ormond street where he was diagnosed with duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD).

DMD is a life limiting muscle waisting disease. they say by the age of 12 teddy will be in a wheel chair permenantly. he will need to have a bedroom and wet room downstairs and his home adapted to his needs.

We were in council accommodation but they would not adapt house so we was adviced to purchase our home. We have therefore purchased our home and now in need of help to fund our ground floor extension giving him a bedroom and wet room and full access to ground floor in his powerchair.

Teddy is 9 years old and always smiling he loves challenges and will try to do something at least once😊. He makes us smile everyday.
