Hi all, I am taking part in the Dundalk Half Marathon on 6th April, regardless of me recently saying I’ll never run anymore than 10k again and here we are….no going back now!!

And I can’t think of a better organisation to be raising money for. Not only did they look after me, they also looked after my mum Claire 🤍

They made the most frightening and terrifying experience of my life not seem so scary at all. The care and dedication the nurses have is something else, and they gave me nothing but confidence in my treatment and my pregnancy.

So when I’m huffing and puffing and giving out during my training and the half marathon itself, I’ll think of all those in Drogheda Oncology who looked after me so well and I’m sure it will make the run that bit easier x
