I'm doing the Great North Run and I've decided to raise money for Kidney Research UK as Mum spent the last year of her life on the dialysis machine 3 times a week. She took to it surprisingly well according to the doctors, as she had numerous other illnesses including myeloma cancer, AF and leg ulcers.

She was the strongest, cheeriest, loving and caring woman in the world. It's coming up to a year without her and I miss her dreadfully every single day.
