In memory of Aunties

Marathon · 27 April 2025

Foyle Hospice provides palliative care services for patients with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses while supporting their families and loved ones across the Western Health and Social Trust area in Northern Ireland. We improve the quality of life of patients and support their families.

Story

On Sunday, April 27th 2025 the Crossan brothers Terry Og, Christopher and James will participate in the London marathon in memory of their aunts Assumpta, Ann and Donna. We are running firstly in honour of their memory but most importantly to raise much needed funds for the Foyle Hospice who administered palliative care to all 3 of our aunts. The care provided by the Foyle Hospice was amazing and a great comfort, not only to our aunts but also to our extended family and we can never thank them or repay the staff for that. There is not a family in Derry who haven’t been touched by the Foyle Hospice or the service they provide, this is our way of thanking them for the inpatient and outpatient services and the support to us as a family in such difficult times. Please donate, however small we appreciate it from the bottom of our hearts.

Terry Og, Christopher and James.
