Climbing Mount Snowdon

When lives are shattered by a life-changing injury Day One Trauma Support is there to help piece them back together. We are the only national charity to provide personalised care to anyone affected by a catastrophic injury of any kind, their loved ones and their families – for as long it takes.

Story

Last June, while on holiday, Terry suffered a serious knee injury that required urgent specialist care. Due to the complexity of the injury and the limitations of the local hospital, he was transferred to Liverpool for treatment at Day One’s Trauma Centre in Aintree.

Thanks to the skill of the surgical team and a carefully structured rehabilitation programme, Terry made a remarkable recovery and is walking again.

To mark this milestone and give back to the organisation that supported him, Terry will be climbing Mount Snowdon with his daughter. Their journey is not only a personal triumph but also a powerful effort to raise awareness and funds for Day One Trauma Support.
