Prostate Cancer UK has a simple ambition - to stop men dying from prostate cancer. Through shifting the science over the next 10 years to focus on radical improvements in diagnosis, treatment, prevention, and support, we will stop prostate cancer being a killer.

Story

Terry had battled with prostate and bone cancer since June 2018. Terry fought his cancer with bravery and dignity, never once with complaint. He was selfless in all he did and kind to all he met. His family meant the world to him and he took most joy when he was with them. Following his diagnosis, he was determined to see both his grandsons go to school and we are grateful that he managed to achieve this. He played a huge active role in their young lives and they created lifelong memories together.

Terry was a much loved Husband to Chris, Dad to Lorna and Son-in-law Matt, Pops to Noah and Henry and Brother to Sandra.

We would like to thank all those who helped Terry in the last 5 years and particular thanks to the wonderful NHS Oncology Department and Macmillan Unit at Royal Derby Hospital. We are so grateful to the District Nurses who made Terry's wish to stay at home possible. A tremendous thank you also goes to Mickleover Surgery for their part in looking after Terry throughout his illness.

We would like to raise money in his memory for Prostate Cancer UK, so that others can benefit from their valuable research.

We thank you for any contributions you are able to make.
