Our beautiful daughter, Poppy, arrived at just 25 weeks & 2 days gestation, 103 days earlier than expected, weighing a tiny 2lb 2oz. What followed was the most frightening and challenging chapter of our lives.

Throughout our journey, the incredible teams at City Hospital and Queen’s Medical Centre provided not only outstanding care for Poppy but also amazing support for us as a family. They celebrated Poppy’s wins & helped us navigate some of our darkest days- they gave our little girl the very best chance.

We will never be able to fully express our gratitude for everything they did, but we want to give something back. Terry and our wonderful bestie, Jen, are taking on the Nottingham Half Marathon to raise funds for Nottingham Hospitals Charity. The funds raised will help continue the vital work they do caring for premature and poorly babies, while supporting families when they need it most.
